WWII German Model 1935 Army Camouflage Helmet-This fantastic piece has a green, tan and dark red camouflage finish that remains mostly intact. You can clearly see that the army decal is still in place under the finish. The interior features a tan leather liner which has some moderate discoloration and wear from use. There are a few tears and some scuffing as well. There is a reinforced aluminum liner band and a drawstring. The liner band is maker marked, dated 1938 and size stamped 66/58. The side of the interior is stamped E.F. 66 indicating production by Emaillerwerke of Fulda in the size of 66. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number 13198. There is an original brown leather chinstrap as well. An extremely nice example!
