WWII German Model 1935 Army Camouflage Helmet-This interesting example has had two different camouflage schemes; first a green finish and then a sawdust type finish. Both are visible but only partially intact. The size 58 liner has modest wear, discoloration and a few tears. There is a drawstring and a reinforced aluminum liner band that is maker marked, dated 1938 and size stamped 66/58. The side of the interior is stamped Q 66 indicating production by Quist of Esslingen in the size 66. The rear skirt is stamped with the steel lot number 418. There is a small section of the buckle end of the chinstrap present. A bargain!
