WWII German Luftwaffe Honor Goblet-Awarded to Leutnant Anton Hartmann-Hartmann was an observer in a bomber wing. He was born in Stuttgart on January 6. 1914. He was killed in Belowskoy, Dwory Poland on June 28, 1942. The engraving around the bottom reads:
LEUTNANT Anton Hartmann AM 16.8.42
The underside of the goblet is marked "Feinsilber Alpaka Auflage" as well as JOH.WAGNER & SOHN (manufacturer). There are minor signs of toning and minor wear. It appears to have been cleaned at some point but this was long ago. The base is not bent at all and this goblet stands straight and true. Great condition!
