WWII German Army Infantry Visor Cap for Other Ranks Personnel-This later war example is produced in field grey, trikot weave wool. There is little to no visible wear, with only a small scuff on the top panel. The white infantry piping is fully intact. The eagle and wreath are zinc, with an aluminum cockade. There is a dark green badge cloth center band. Both the soft black leather chinstrap and vulkanfibre visor show some crazing but are shiny and fine otherwise. The underside of the visor is finished in an orange brown hue. There is some very light discoloration and wear from use. The side of the interior is lined in orange brown cloth. It has only minor discoloration at the front. The top panel is orange brown oil cloth. There is a rhomboid shaped moisture shield that fully intact. The top panel is ink stamped with the size 56. The orange brown sweatband is produced in oil cloth. It is extremely stiff but fully intact. A great example overall!
