WWII German Army Artillery Officer Waffenrock- This beautiful private purchase walking out dress uniform is produced in high quality, smooth field grey wool that is excellent. There is very slight wear and discoloration from use. Red piping is seen at the front and lower edge of the dark green badge cloth collar, around the tail, at the edge of the closure seam and finally around the cuffs. There is an eight-button closure and all buttons are silver finished pebbled metal. There are red badge cloth cuff tabs on the dark green badge cloth cuffs. The officer bullion collar tabs are over red badge cloth. The sew in shoulder boards have a bright silver face over red badge cloth with a secondary underlay of grey. The boards have the number 34 cipher. These are for a Leutnant (2nd lieutenant). The breast eagle is all bullion over dark green wool. There is quite a bit of powdering to the bullion. There is a button under the right shoulder board for an aiguillette or lanyard. The interior is fully lined in green rayon. There is a pocket on the left side as well as a waist belt with plated metal clip. It is a medium size. Excellent condition!
