US WWII M-1 Helmet, Named, Possible USMC Repaint-This has a green refinish that is typically seen on field done USMC helmets, but we cannot be 100% positive of this. It covered the marking inside the shell so we cannot read anything. The exterior finish is mostly intact. The OD3 chinstrap is frayed and worn but still present and there is a raised bar buckle. The helmet is fixed bale, front seam. The Inland liner is in fine condition, with most of the exterior finish intact. The owner wrote his name, Ronald Andrew Chabane, onto the inside of the liner. The suspension, sweatband and chinstrap are all in fine condition. Overall very good condition!
