WWII German Model 1942 Reissue Camouflage Helmet, Named-This unique offering started out as a single decal helmet, but was reissued and the decal was painted over. The outline is clearly visible though! The owner added his own personal touch, with the addition of a blotchy grey camouflage finish. The same paint was used to write his name and rank inside, on the rear skirt, "Gefr.Seeland.". The size 55 leather liner has some wear, especially at the front lower part, and discoloration from use. There is a drawstring and a zinc liner band that is maker marked and size stamped, 62/55. The side of the interior is stamped EF 62 indicating production by Emaillerwerke of Fulda in the size of 62. The rear skirt is stamped with the steel lot number of 1412. Also included is a brown leather chinstrap that is excellent. A unique, untouched example!
