This large shield shaped tinnie is produced in pressed metal with a brass finish. The central figure is a hand grasped in the talons of an eagle. Mining tools are seen at the bottom of the tinnie (Castrop-Rauxel was a mining town). The upper left corner has the shield for the city, with a mobile swastika seen on the middle right side. Script at the top reads “Saarkundebung in Castrop-Rauxel” and at the bottom reads “hände weg von der Deutschern Saar”, literally “hands off the German Saar”. The reverse features a vertical pin. Excellent!
