Third Reich Model 1934 Lightweight Fire Police Helmet- A great example, with 90% of the satin black finish intact, remaining very clean. The bordered Police decal checks in at 85% intact, with the party shield even better. The size 57 brown leather liner is in good shape with minor wear and discoloration. The dome pad is present. One rivet is broken but the liner is still very tight. The owner wrote his name, Schmidt, onto the liner. The chinstrap is produced in pebbled black leather. This has a US Patent for “Tuck Tite” on it, and it is stamped “Made in Germany”. Please note that the orange foam pad under the liner is extremely stiff and brittle. It has fallen apart for the most part but there is still a bit inside. A great example of this type!
