WWII German SS Gruppenführer Collar Tab-This type would have been worn by an SS general with the rank of gruppenführer, equivalent to a major general (2 star). It is produced in black, soft wool that is excellent. There is a silver flat wire, three leave oak leaf sprig with a single silver bullion pip. There is moderate powdering to each of these, making it appear dull. A portion of the flat wire is missing as well. The edge is piped with silver bullion twist rope.
