Kreistag der NSDAP in Ludwigshafen Rh. 15.-17.7.1938”; Metal; Marked Neat solid backed tinnie in disk shape, made of zinc. It is a very BUSY piece – lots going on: the image is a relief map of the Greater German Reich (Germany and Austria). The Ludwigshafen am Rhein (near Mannheim / Kaiserslautern, north of Karlsruhe) Kreistag was held from 15-17 July, 1938. Across the tinnie center is a scroll with the “Ein Volk, ein Reich…” motto. There is some very minor oxidation to the dark obverse (no finish left). The matte silver washed reverse has some light white oxidation. The horizontal pin is crimped on, and below it there is a maker logo and the name: F. Mannheim K.Lautern. Sound example.
