Interesting, WWII German Luftwaffe Winter Cap- This scarce cap has a blue/grey wool body that is in near excellent condition, with minor wear only. The flaps are lined in a white wool piling that has minor discoloration. The side flaps have ties which serve either to hold it above when not in use or as a chinstrap. The folded up front flap contains an aluminum Luftwaffe eagle with a silver finish that remains fully intact. The interior is fully lined in grey cloth which has minor discoloration from use. It is quilted and heavily padded. The ink stamp in the center of the dome indicates this was produced by Berolina of Berlin in 1942. The size is also indicated as 57. The owner stitched Unit information into the liner with green cloth thread, this reads “A 115”. Near excellent condition!
