This buckle is produced in brass with a natural finish. There is little to no wear to the details but it has been de-nazified with the removal of the swastika. The reverse has a plated steel roll bar and prongs. The catch is the heavy, steel bar that is commonly seen on these buckles. It is maker marked C.T.D. (for Christian Th. Dicke Co. of Ludenscheid) and dated 1942. An interesting variant!
