This neat example features a parade finish of apple green that remains nearly fully intact. The metal lip around the skirt is missing a small percentage of the finish, revealing the base material. Interestingly, this was originally produced for the Chilean market and then intended to be reissued to the German Army. This is evidenced by the fact that clearly visible underneath the tri-color shield, is a Chilean star. Also, looking inside, the manufacturer’s sticker in written in Spanish. It features the Robert Lubstein name and regularly-seen profile of a soldier, but with Spanish writing otherwise. The interior also features a light brown leather liner that is in near excellent condition with just minor discoloration. It has the silver embossed eReL Fiberhelm sideways diamond (twice) and there is a drawstring, as well. There is a very faint ink stamp on the liner that I cannot read. The shell is a size 64. There is a thick brown leather chinstrap with metal fittings that is excellent. A very scarce and interesting offering!
