German WWII NSRL Athletic Team Patch-This patch is handsome but a bit salty looking. It would have been worn on the sleeve of an athletic shirt or jacket. It is very rare since this is constructed in a high quality thick red and white thread. This is beautifully constructed in multiple pieces, with the white swastika imposed over the regal black eagle. The patch is shaped as a shield. It is rare to find them on this red felt, with the white felt trim. The white has slight age toning and there is moth damage so please be sure to look closely at the photos There are significant moth bites to the red felt. Overall, this is a desirable, scarce, high-quality patch in salty condition. We love this been there done that look.
