German WWII Luftwaffe Glider Pilot Badge -This is a beauty. This badge would have presented to anyone who successfully completed their glider pilot training. This has lost the majority of its original finish, but the remaining zinc has toned to a very dark gray color. The details on the eagle and wreath are very good. This is a two piece badge, the eagle is held on with two small rivets. This is an unmarked Juncker, in fact it is textbook, based on the hardware. The pin, catch and hardware setup functions as intended. This is a scarce badge in very good condition.
