German WWII Kurland Cufftitle with Documents- Very interesting grouping. All from the same individual who was in the Navy. The cuff title itself is a textbook example which has been shortened to approximately 7 ¼ inches for display purposes. These cufftitles, as you might know. were locally made. In addition to the cuff title we have from the same sailor the following items: His document for the Iron Cross Second Class dated April 20th 1944 (Hitler’s birthday) and signed by the commanding Vice Admiral from the Ostsee (East Sea). In addition, there is a hand-written paper officially signed, listing this sailor’s other awards which included the exact entry for the Kurland cuff title which interestingly enough is also dated on Hitler’s last birthday which was April 20th 1945. The group includes a short portion of his Iron Cross ribbon. Very nice display piece!
