German Army Model 1936 Tunic for an Infantry Reservist Officer (Captain) -This is produced in a high quality, soft green wool that has some minor discoloration. There are multiple, minor holes/nips as well with some tracking visible. There are four external pleated pockets with scalloped flaps. The buttons are field gray finished and pebbled. There is a five-button closure with buttons that match the ones for the pockets except that they are bigger. The sew-in shoulder boards have a matte face of flat wire with white piping. The gray underlay indicates that the wearer was a reservist. Each board has a pair of gilt metal pips and ciphers that show the number “104”, indicating that the wearer was a reservist with the 104th Infantry Regiment. The dark green badge cloth collar has a pair of officer tabs which has off white (from discoloration) columns of flat wire with white cloth litzen over a green backing. These have been machine applied to the collar. The officer breast eagle is produced with bright silver bullion over a dark green badge cloth backing. It has been hand applied to the tunic. There is a set of loops for a single award on the left breast pocket as well as loops for a small ribbon bar. The interior is fully lined in green rayon which has some minor wear but is very clean. The left side has a large internal pocket. The sleeves are lined in a white cloth with gray stripes. There is a dagger slot, but no hanger (never had one). It is a large size, 42. A sound example overall! Please note that any "accessories" (i.e. medals, badges, belts etc.) are NOT included unless stated in description!
