WWII German Municipal Police NCO Tunic- This Schutzpolizei tunic is produced in blue green wool. There is very minor wear and discoloration from use plus a small repair to the rear left shoulder area. There is an eight-button closure with all buttons produced in pebbled metal with a silver finish. The tunic is piped at the closure seam, cuffs, tail and collar in green piping. The cuffs and collar are produced in chocolate brown badge cloth. The machine applied collar tabs are produced in green badge cloth with bright silver metallic tress columns. The tabs are piped in silver bullion rope twist. The sew in shoulder boards have a chocolate brown cloth face with silver flat wire. The backing is green cloth which doubles as the piping. Each has a pair of silver finished pips, this indicates the municipal police NCO rank of Hauptwachtmeister. The sleeve eagle, which has been reapplied is produced in blue green cloth with green script. The city is W-Gladbach-Rheudt. The interior is fully lined in golden brown cloth. There is a single pocket on the left side. One ink stamp says "Po 1940" and the other reads "E30 9". It is a size medium. Near excellent condition overall!
