WWII German Luftwaffe Summer Flyers Suit, Named-This nicely worn summer flight suit comes with original attached rank insignia to both sleeves. It belonged to a Feldwebel Engelhardt who, preliminary research indicates, may have served during the "Battle of Britain". The buttons are marked "PRYM 6". Most zippers function but the two horizontal ones just below the waist are a little rusty so we didn't force them open. The zippers to the legs are "Elite" marked, the others are DRP & ZIPP as well as RiRi marked. All zippers are original to the suit. Original "Bekleidungsfarbrik Habett" tailors tag which is "1940" dated and size "IIa" stamped. It is stamped "L.B.A.(S.) 40" and there is an "Engelhardt" name tag. The suit has some minor wear, discoloration and fraying from use and a few small period repairs. The size is a medium and will fit a standard mannequin. A great example!
