Scarcely Encountered German BDM Service Jacket-This jacket was worn by a member of the BDM, or Bund Deutscher Mädel, which is the female wing of the Hitler Youth. It is produced in a fine, soft brown cloth that is in excellent condition. It has four small pockets with scalloped flaps. All of the buttons are light brown bakelite. The left sleeve has two hand applied pieces of machine woven insignia. One is the youth diamond and the other a group triangle. This reads "Süd Bayr Ostmark" (Eastern Bavaria area). Inside the pocket we found a few interesting artifacts. One is a collectors note which has information written in German. Another is a ticket to an NSDAP sponsored film which was shown in the same Eastern Bavaria area. Lastly, there are two plastic rings which we are not sure of the origin. The interior is fully lined in off white cloth which has minor discoloration only. It is a small size. Very desirable!
Please note that any "accessories" (i.e. medals, badges, belts etc.) are NOT included unless stated in description!
