GI Family Acquired WWII German Snifter Glass-We recently acquired this from the son of veteran Paul Edward Lea. T5 Lea served with the 81st Field Artillery, 3rd Army and was in the ETO from September 1944 through November 1945. It was liberated from a German army officers club. The son did not know exactly where the club was located, but during his father’s service time he was in Luxembourg, France, Belgium and Germany. The glass is a "snifter" type, measuring 4" high and with a stenciled army type eagle. Some wear to stenciled eagle and swastika, otherwise fine condition! We have a few.
