The black vulkanfibre visor has minor crazing but is otherwise fine. The underside of the visor is finished in the oft seen orange brown hue with cross hatching. There is a rhomboid shaped moisture shield that is fully intact. The script reads “Stirndruckfrei Deutsches Reichspatent”. There is a paper tag in the slot which has the owners name and rank typed out, “Gefr. Hans Völler” (torn at the end but fully legible). The orange brown leather sweatband is soft, with some discoloration and wear. The size is ink stamped underneath the band, 55. A great example!
