German WWII National Police Officer’s Visor Cap- Beautiful example, please be sure to check out the photos! This has a green wool body with medium green piping throughout, along with a brown wool centerband. The police eagle on the front is normally associated with other ranks and not officers, however, it is seen several times on officer’s caps. Silver bullion chin cord is attached to the body of the cap by pebbled silver buttons clearly identifying this as being worn by an officer. Black visor with green checkered underside is in perfect condition. This enormous size 61 liner has the complete diamond shaped moisture shield. It has the chintz liner along with a light brown leather sweatband which has some tears and repairs. This saddle shaped cap is an excellent display example.
