Model 1943 Swiss Army Dagger- This is not a pre-1945 piece but the model has been used for decades. It is included on my listing because it has an intrigue and has become a collectable. This example is made by Elsener Schwyz Victoria. The scabbard, which retains 95% of the original paint, is marked with an “S” which stands for Sissach which is the city where the scabbards were made. This has wooden grip plates held on by 3 spanner nuts. The fittings on the cross guard are nickel silver and are excellent. The piece has its original properly tied knot. It does have a short brown hanger with nickel silver snap ring. It is overall in excellent condition and priced under the going market rate!
