H-231 Named Model 1942 Luftwaffe Combat Helmet
A sound example of this type of helmet! The rough textured
Luftwaffe blue/grey combat finish is excellent, at 98% intact. The stamped
size 55 liner is sound, with honest wear from use including minor discoloration
and scuffing. The owner wrote his name in ink on the liner, it looks like
“Kierah Peter.”. This comes complete with a drawstring and a non-reinforced
zinc liner band. The shell is stamped hkp 62 at the rear of the skirt,
indicating this was a later production example. Stamped below this is its
production number, which is 3027. This example also retains its original
chinstrap, which is scuffed and shortened a bit but sound. A must-have for your
collection!
