S-102 German WWI Vintage Military Mug Presented to an Unteroffizier
This is a heavy, clear glass mug that is ½ liter in size (0.5l etched into
glass under hinge). The glass is excellent and has very simple etch work to the
three sides. The hinged, nickel/silver plated lid, which is a bit wobbly on the
handle, has the following inscription: “Unteroffz. Korps Minen-Werfer Komp. 6
Petersen”. This indicated it was given to an Unteroffizier Petersen that
belonged to a Mine Launcher Company in World War I (we believe). An interesting
item, in excellent overall condition!
