German Soldier’s Leather Money Pouch
This is produced in a brown leather, which has some moderate wear but
is sound overall. The interior has two pockets, one that is open and another
that has a flap with a snap closure. This is stamped with the manufacturer’s
information in high relief, which reads “Unic BTEGD.G”. This is repeated
underneath the flap on the pocket itself. Interestingly, the soldier made it his
own by adding an aluminum wreath with a cockade (red felt bull’s eye), as well
as a single pip to the outside flap. A unique item in sound overall condition!
