M-023 Extremely Rare Named Army Paratrooper

This is the second model version in aluminum. The gilting on the
obverse is better than 90% intact and overall the piece shows light, honest
wear. The gilting on the reverse is very nice. Lightly scratched into the
back of the wreath is the inscription " Objager Wigstein Stabs II F.J.R.1."
and deeply scratched
into the back of the eagle is the number "206". Wigstein was in Fallschirm Inf Komp prior to
July of 1938, and based on the number 206 scratched into the reverse of the badge,
was in the second group (206th recipient) to receive this prestigious award.
This event took place on December 18, 1937. This is a textbook example of this very
desirable award from a very prestigious collection! This information will
