FL-8 Scarce Party Flag for Girls' School
“Pestalozzi-Schule”
This interesting, two-sided party flag is produced in a red cloth
that is excellent with no damage. It measures approximately 21” wide by 31”
long and has a separately applied white cloth disc with a separately applied
one-piece black cloth swastika. At the hoist end of each side there is a yellow
cloth rectangle with the printed script (in black) “Pestalozzi-Schule”. This
is an all girls’ school that was founded in 1860 and located in Biberach an
der Riß, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It still exists and switched its format
in 1970 to become co-educational. The hoist end also contains brass snap clips
used as a means of hanging the flag, originally three were in place but
currently the bottom one is gone. A near excellent example of an interesting
flag!
