This typed document is on the personal letterhead (he wasted no time
in securing supplies for his new title, it appears!) of “Reichsminister Dr.
Arthur Seyss-Inquart, complete with embossed political eagle. In it, he thanks
Hewel for the congratulatory note Hewel sent him upon his promotion to
Reichsminister. Hewel himself has not yet been promoted to Ambassador 1st Class,
and is still only a Lecturing Legation Councilor. Very clear, crisp, original
Seyss-Inquart signature (he was hanged after the war). Measures approximately
11.5” by 7.75” and in great condition.
