C-022 Set of Sew-In Shoulder Boards for Army
Artillery Oberstleutnant (Lt. Col.)
This pair of boards features a matte grey aluminum braid weave over a
red badge cloth background (for Artillery) The addition of a single gilt metal
pip to each board indicates the rank of Oberstleutnant, equivalent to a
Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army. These also features gilt metal ciphers
forming the number “19”, which means that this field grade Officer was
attached to the 19th Artillery Regiment. There is some minor discoloration
throughout, and a tiny nip to the reverse of one of the boards. A desirable set!
