B-142 Excellent Army Enlisted Man's Painted Steel
Buckle
This is a pressed steel example with a field grey finish that is an
honest to goodness 99% intact! The field is smooth, with no wear to the
highlights. The reverse features a round bar with flat feet welded to the buckle
for a belt catch. It is stamped “B&N” for the manufacturer, “Berg
& Nolte”, as well as ’43 for the date of production. The roll bar is
steel. A full excellent example!
